Corringham

St Marys, Corringham

St. Mary's church, a Grade I listed building, has stood in the village of Old Corringham since Saxon times. Parts of the south walls of the chancel, nave and the west tower are 11th century. There are some interesting monumental brasses, particularly that of Richard de Belton, Rector of the parish, circa 1340 - for more information click here.
